In this essay written for Koozarch in the framework of Nieuwe Instituut’s past fellowship program, we reflect on the initial iterations of our bike messenger project in Rotterdam. It becomes a tool through which to think about community, mutual aid, solidarity and labor in times of crisis, and the labor of building infrastructures to hold each other.
